Amour et haine, entente et mésentente, découverte et indifférence, le cas de l'immigration a toujours subit un fort clivage, mais dans cet entre-deux il y a des vies, des parcours et des familles. Et si au-delà des chiffres on s'intéressait à ce qu'il s'y passait derrière.
"L'espace des immigrés est longtemps resté un espace sans parole, bien plus, qui exclut la parole" a cité Abdelmalek Sayad, sociologue Algérien.
Du fait d'un manque de récit existants consacrés à la génération des pionniers et à son expérience de l'émigration, ce zine aborde cette thématique avec honneur, témoignant de la rencontre de deux cultures, de la mixité et enfin de la diversité. De l'importance de rompre le problème du manque de reconnaissance dans la société d'accueil, et de comprendre la difficulté et la nécessité d'accepter les nouvelles cultures dans lesquelles ils vivent, sans simplement s'y assimiler et perdre complètement leur identité.
